Job summary

Actalent, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for an onsite role in Cary, NC. The incumbent will support pharmacy operations, handle patient communications, and assist with claim processing in Biologics MIS.

Preferred candidates hold a CPhT certification, have experience with prior authorizations, and can navigate insurance types. This is a contract-to-hire position with weekday shifts.

Qualifications

• Registered Technician status is required.
• 1+ years of related experience preferred.
• Pharmacy experience in retail/call center environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Identify and communicate insurance types and their utilization.
• Enter communications and documentation into Biologics MIS.
• Triage prescriptions to HUB providers when Biologics cannot serve the patient.
• Process pharmacy claims in Biologics MIS and interpret claim responses.
• Manage inbound calls from patients, clients, physicians, and payors.
