Job summary

Accenture's Healthcare team is seeking a Pharmacy Management Consulting Manager to lead strategies that blend managed care pharmacy insights with operational and clinical pharmacy transformation for payer and provider clients.

You will drive formulary strategy, utilization management, and cost containment initiatives while partnering with clinical and operations leaders. Travel up to 80% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of consulting/advisory experience with healthcare provider and/or payer clients.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managed care pharmacy, PBM operations, or pharmacy benefit/cost management.
• Active Pharmacist license (PharmD or RPh) preferred.
• Experience in design, financing, and management of large group pharmacy benefit programs (PBM, brokerage, carrier).
• Experience with PBM procurement, formulary strategy, rebate contracting, specialty pharmacy management, and drug cost/trend monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address pharmacy cost and drug trend drivers across medical and pharmacy benefits.
• Lead managed care pharmacy initiatives including formulary strategy, utilization management, and PBM performance.
• Partner with clinical and operations leaders on pharmacy operations transformation and clinical pharmacy program design.
