Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior Strategic Advisor to leverage deep pharmacy industry expertise to identify cost-saving opportunities, develop revenue-generating pharmacy products and programs, and lead strategic initiatives that deliver enterprise value through cross-functional collaboration.

The role focuses on reducing cost of care, improving member outcomes, expanding market competitiveness, and partnering with PBMs and vendors to accelerate innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in healthcare strategy or related fields.
• OR master's degree with 3+ years in healthcare strategy or related fields.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs from opportunity assessment to execution and value realization.

Responsibilities

• Identify and lead pharmacy strategies that reduce cost of care.
• Develop and optimize pharmacy products, programs, and partnerships.
• Evaluate industry trends to identify strategic opportunities and risks.
• Conduct complex financial, operational, and market analyses.
• Present strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Build and manage relationships with PBMs, vendors, and partners.
• Serve as a pharmacy strategy expert across the enterprise.
• Lead execution and measurement of strategic initiatives.
