Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network's Inpatient Pharmacy is seeking a Department Operations Coordinator to help oversee revenue cycle operations for medications and pharmaceutical supplies, and support budgeting and reporting for the department.

You will coordinate processing of patient and interdepartmental charges, monitor budget adherence, and provide clerical and administrative support to Pharmacy Leadership. Strong analytical, communication, and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in an office environment performing customer service, health related or information services work.
• Ability to manage complex systems and projects.
• Knowledge of hospital/physician billing practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy revenue capture and expense management processes.
• Prepare documentation and reports related to financial management of the department.
• Provide administrative support to Pharmacy Leadership as required.
