Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking an Administrative Supervisor to provide on-site leadership and coordinate hospital operations during the shift. The role emphasizes patient placement, staffing decisions, and intradepartmental collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required or completion within 1 year of hire.
• NYS RN license required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive nursing experience with increasing responsibility.
• Enrollment in BSN program for RNs without BSN within 4 years.
• Must demonstrate leadership and staff management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hospital operations on assigned shift and manage patient placement.
• Provide on-site administrative coverage and address patient and staff concerns.
• Lead staffing decisions and allocate resources to meet acuity.
• Consult with Bed Management and other departments.
• Represent the department in interdisciplinary meetings.
• Model professional practice and participate in quality initiatives.
