Job summary

Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Pharmacy Refill Technician to support the pharmacy team by ensuring accurate, timely filling and delivery of specialty medications. You will assist patients through the refill process, handle outbound and inbound calls, and help maintain efficient pharmacy operations.

The role is onsite in Texas with schedule Monday–Friday, 9:30AM–6:00PM CST. A Texas Pharmacy Technician license and national certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, knowledgeable assistance to patients, providers, and staff.
• Make outbound refill calls and process requests promptly.
• Answer and triage incoming pharmacy calls.
• Clarify prescription orders with pharmacists or clinicians.
• Coordinate medication refills and complete accurate data entry.
• Assist with claim adjudication and troubleshoot rejected claims.

Shields Health Solutions is redefining patient care through specialty pharmacy. We're hiring aPharmacy Refill Technician to support the pharmacy team by ensuring accurate, timely filling and delivery of specialty medications. This role includes assisting patients through the refill process, handling both outbound and inbound calls, and helping maintain efficient pharmacy operations.

Schedule: Onsite Monday - Friday, 9:30AM - 6:00PM CST.

*Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License and National Pharmacy Technician Certification Required*

What You’ll Do:
