Job summary

Shields Health Solutions is seeking a Pharmacy Refill Technician to support our pharmacy team in filling and delivering specialty medications. You will assist patients through the refill process, handle outbound and inbound calls, and help maintain efficient operations.

The role is onsite in the office, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM AZT. Requires Arizona Pharmacy Technician license and CPhT; 2+ years of experience; strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician License and CPhT certification are required.
2+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician; HS diploma or GED accepted.
Strong communication, organization, and tech skills; team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, knowledgeable assistance to patients, providers, and staff.
Make outbound refill calls and process requests promptly.
Answer and triage incoming pharmacy calls.
Clarify prescription orders with pharmacists or clinicians.
Coordinate medication refills and complete accurate data entry.
Assist with claim adjudication and troubleshoot rejected claims.
