Job summary

Amazon Pharmacy seeks a Pharmacy Manager in Brisbane, CA. A licensed Pharmacist will oversee operations, safety, quality, customer experience, budgetary and people development at a small format pharmacy site.

The role involves hands-on dispensing, prescription fulfillment, and pharmacist verifications. The manager leads technicians and pharmacists, ensures compliance with state/federal laws, drives performance metrics and Lean improvements, and mentors staff to strengthen leadership bench.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or PharmD/Pharmacy degree required.
• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist License in required states.
• Experience with performance metrics and Lean techniques.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends/nights/holidays.
• 1+ years as Pharmacist in Charge or Staff Pharmacist at Amazon.
• Strong knowledge of state/federal pharmacy laws.
• Excellent oral and written communication; data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall safety, quality, performance and customer experience of operations.
• Manage daily site operations and meet same-day CPT times with partner facilities.
• Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness and recommend therapy changes when needed.
• Set expectations, measure performance, provide feedback and maintain a high bar.
• Educate staff on policies, guidelines and quality practices.
• Lead Lean initiatives to meet and exceed operating plans.
• Coordinate with leadership to manage staffing and workflow across the site.
