Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a full-time, certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical operations and ensure efficient workflow. You will work under a pharmacist, manage data entry, patient interactions and assist with vaccines and health services within policy and law.

You will also lead training and performance management of technicians, oversee scheduling, and drive improvements in pharmacy operations and customer service to deliver a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist with patient registration, data entry, medication prep and verification.
• Support vaccine and health service offerings where allowed by law.
• Delegate non-clinical tasks while ensuring on-time workflow.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate records per policy and law.
• Manage inventory, records, and security safeguards with Pharmacy Manager.
