Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and maintain efficient workflow. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, you will perform prescription entry, patient registration and assist with vaccination and health services where allowed by law.

You will lead training and performance management of technicians, participate in scheduling and inventory tasks, and help ensure quality patient experiences and accurate insurance processing.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician role requiring High School Diploma or equivalent.
• PTCB certification is required where applicable.
• One year of pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
• Willingness to obtain immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in delivering patient care and prescription processing.
• Register patients and input prescription data; prepare medications.
• Support vaccine administration and health screenings as allowed by law.
• Manage scheduling, training and performance of pharmacy technicians.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
