Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under a pharmacist's supervision. You will handle prescription processing, patient data entry, and inventory tasks while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

You will lead training and performance management of technicians, contribute to a positive patient experience, and participate in vaccine administration and health services where allowed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification.
• 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting and verification where allowed by law.
• Handle patient and physician calls under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Assist with healthcare service offerings including administering vaccines and health screenings where allowed by law.
• Delegate and assign non-clinical work in compliance with company policies and laws.
• Prepare and file reports and records required by the company and government agencies.
