Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical and clinical-adjacent pharmacy operations. Under a pharmacist’s supervision, you will enter prescriptions, prepare medications, and assist with health services like vaccines and screenings.

You will lead training and performance management of technicians, ensure compliance, and help optimize pharmacy workflow to deliver a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting preferred.
• PTCB certification required where applicable by location.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities under supervision.
• Handle prescription data entry and medication preparation.
• Participate in vaccine administration, health screenings, and health services within legal scope.
• Manage non-clinical pharmacy workflows and ensure efficient operations.
• Train, coach, and manage pharmacy technicians and staff as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
