Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and patient services in a fast-paced retail setting. Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist with prescription processing, data entry, and core workflow while maintaining high patient experiences.

You will lead technician training, participate in performance management, and help ensure accurate insurance processing and inventory control.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in delivery of patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications for patients, counting, and verification (where allowed by law).
• Under supervision of a pharmacist, assist with healthcare service offerings including administering vaccines, health screenings, and other services allowed by law.
• Lead training, coaching and performance management of pharmacy technicians; ensure compliance with policies and laws.
