Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical operations and ensure an efficient workflow for a positive patient experience. Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist with prescription processing, patient registration, and non-clinical duties while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in delivering patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting and verification where allowed.
• Under pharmacist supervision, perform healthcare service offerings including vaccines and health screenings where allowed by law.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians; delegate non-clinical work per policy.
• Ensure compliant, on-time workflow and maintain proper records and inventory management.
