Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time, certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical operations and ensure a positive patient experience. Under pharmacist supervision, you will process prescriptions, assist with patient registration, and maintain efficient workflow within Walgreens pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities include supervising technicians, managing inventory, and delivering training to the team.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and patient registration.
• Process prescriptions and data entry under pharmacist supervision; support inventory management.
• Lead training, coaching and performance management of technicians; ensure compliance with policies.
• Support patient experience by resolving questions and ensuring accurate dispensing.
• Oversee scheduling, records, and ensure efficient workflow and security safeguards.
