Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations, under pharmacist supervision, ensuring efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.

You will assist in patient registration, prescription data entry, medication preparation, and healthcare service offerings while contributing to inventory management and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• PTCB certification required where applicable.
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in delivering patient care, including data entry and medication preparation.
• Process prescriptions under supervision of a pharmacist following company policies and laws.
• Support non-clinical pharmacy operations and ensure accurate insurance claim processing.
• Train, coach, and manage pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Coordinate pharmacy workflow and maintain inventory and records.
