Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and deliver a positive patient experience. Under pharmacist supervision, you will process prescriptions, manage inventory, and participate in training and performance management of staff.

You will engage customers, assist with vaccinations and health services where allowed, and ensure compliant, efficient pharmacy workflows in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico) is required.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Assist pharmacist with patient care tasks under supervision.
• Lead training and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Ensure accurate processing of insurance claims and resolve issues.
• Assist in community outreach and pharmacy operations to maintain workflow and patient experience.
