Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical operations and maintain an efficient pharmacy workflow. You will process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, participate in patient registration and data entry, and contribute to health-service offerings where permitted by law.

Responsibilities include leading technician training, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and maintaining accurate inventory and reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PTCB certification required (where applicable).
• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations to ensure efficient workflow and positive patient experience.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Lead and develop pharmacy technician staff, including training, coaching, and performance management.
• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including registration and data entry, prescription preparation, and health-service offerings where permitted by law.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and good dispensing practices.
