Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support daily non-clinical pharmacy operations and patient services. Under pharmacist supervision, you will manage workflows, participate in vaccine administration where allowed, and assist with patient registrations and data entry.

You will lead training, coaching and performance management for technicians, ensuring efficient operations and high patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Maintains PTCB certification and stays current with certifications and required training.
• Leads training, coaching and performance management of technicians.
• Manages non-clinical pharmacy operations and workflow to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, prescription data entry, preparation and verification of medications.
• Coordinate non-clinical tasks and scheduling to support efficient pharmacy operations.
• Deliver vaccines and healthcare services where permitted by law under pharmacist supervision.
• Oversee inventory, reports, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and evaluate technicians, handle hiring, onboarding, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Contribute to community outreach and partnerships to improve service delivery.
