Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and ensure a positive patient experience.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will operate pharmacy systems, process prescriptions, manage scheduling, and lead technician training and performance management. This role emphasizes compliance, inventory control, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required (except Puerto Rico).
• One year of experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including data entry, prescription processing and medication preparation where allowed.
• Support non-clinical pharmacy operations to ensure efficient workflow and patient experience.
• Lead training, coaching and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Manage inventory and ensure regulatory compliance and security.
• Coordinate scheduling and delegation of non-clinical tasks under supervision.
