Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician to support day-to-day non-clinical operations under supervision of a pharmacist. You will help with prescription processing, data entry, patient registration, and basic health services while maintaining efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.

You will also lead, train, and coach pharmacy technicians, delegate non-clinical tasks, and ensure compliance with policies and laws.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including prescription data entry and medication preparation.
• Maintain pharmacy workflow and ensure efficient operations.
• Train and coach pharmacy technicians; manage performance and scheduling.
• Handle non-clinical calls, inventory, and records management.
• Support immunization clinics and community health initiatives as needed.
