Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities under pharmacist supervision. You will help with patient registration, data entry, prescription processing, and medication preparation while leading technician training and performance management.

You will contribute to a positive patient experience, maintain compliance with policies, and participate in immunization services where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification required.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities.
• Assist pharmacist in patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Ensure compliant, efficient pharmacy workflow and accurate insurance processing.
