Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care, including registration, prescription data entry, and preparation of medications.
• Count and verify medications under pharmacist supervision; administer vaccines/health services where allowed by law.
• Manage pharmacy workflow and inventory; delegate non-clinical work per company policies.
• Train, coach, and supervise pharmacy technicians; participate in performance management and discipline as needed.
• Handle patient and physician calls; ensure accurate insurance claim processing and third-party audits.
• Coordinate community outreach and off-site immunization clinics; build relationships with retail partners.
