Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and ensure efficient workflow and a positive patient experience. Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist with prescription processing, data entry, and customer interactions while developing staff and contributing to training and performance management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with patient care tasks including patient registration, prescription data entry, medication preparation and dispensing support.
• Support non-clinical pharmacy operations to maintain efficient workflow and accuracy.
• Provide excellent customer service, greet customers, answer non-clinical questions, and handle complaints.
• Assist with health services such as immunizations and health screenings when allowed by law.
