Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time, certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and deliver a positive patient experience in a retail setting.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist with prescriptions, data entry, and patient communication while leading technician performance and training. You will help ensure efficient workflow, inventory control, and quality patient service as part of the store pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• PTCB certification required (unless in Puerto Rico).
• 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting preferred.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, data entry, preparation, counting, and verification of medications.
• Handle patient calls under pharmacist supervision and support health service offerings as allowed by law.
• Manage pharmacy workflow, training, and performance of technicians to ensure efficient operations.
• Lead scheduling, delegation, and daily activities to maintain accurate records and inventory.
