Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and ensure an efficient workflow. You will work under the supervision of a pharmacist, handling patient data, prescription processing, and non-clinical duties to maintain a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities include training technicians, managing schedules, and coordinating pharmacy activities while complying with laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PTCB certification required.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacist in delivering patient care, including registration, data entry, and preparation of medications.
• Assist with vaccination services, health screenings, and other allowed health offerings.
• Lead training, coaching and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Manage non-clinical workflows and inventory to ensure efficient operations.
• Communicate prescription errors and ensure compliance with all policies.
