Job summary

Walgreens Bend, OR is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision. You will help with patient registration, data entry, prescription processing, and inventory, while leading technician training and performance management to ensure efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• HD/ GED or equivalent required.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least one year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital setting.
• Excellent English reading/writing/speaking skills.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings/weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist with patient registration, data entry, medication prep, and prescription processing.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of technicians.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and development of pharmacy technician personnel.
• Drive pharmacy workflow, inventory management, and compliance with laws and policies.
• Handle insurance claims processing and third-party audits.
• Support vaccination services, health screenings, and other allowed health services.
