Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical pharmacy operations and ensure a smooth patient experience. You will work under the supervision of a pharmacist, manage prescriptions, and help train pharmacy technicians to maintain high standards.

Responsibilities include patient registration, data entry, vaccine administration support, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• PTCB certification required (except Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative tasks to ensure efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Lead and coach pharmacy technicians; participate in performance management and training.
