Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or hospital setting; fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation.
• Under pharmacist supervision, perform non-clinical tasks and ensure on-time workflow; delegate non-clinical work as needed.
• Prepare and file reports required by the company and government agencies.
• Manage pharmacy daily schedule and inventory; ensure cleanliness and stock adequacy.
• Maintain compliance with policies and security safeguards; support Good Faith Dispensing practices.
• Process insurance claims and resolve related issues; coordinate with providers and payers.
• Support store and pharmacy leadership in outreach, training, and performance improvement.
