Job summary

Walgreens Co. in Englewood, Colorado, is seeking a full-time, certified pharmacy technician.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist with non-clinical operations, patient registration, data entry, and medication preparation, while supporting immunization and health screening services where allowed by law. You will lead pharmacy technicians, coordinate daily workflows, ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations, and contribute to a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of pharmacy tech experience in retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English (except Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care tasks including registration and prescription data entry.
• Prepare medications for patients and perform counting/verification where allowed by law.
• Handle patient calls and basic pharmacy communications under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist with immunization services, health screenings, and other allowed health services.
• Coordinate daily pharmacy workflow and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
