Job summary

Walgreens in Colorado is hiring a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support daily non-clinical pharmacy operations, ensure efficient workflow, and deliver a positive patient experience under pharmacist supervision.

You will assist with patient registration, prescription data entry, medication preparation, and vaccine administration where allowed by law, while leading technician training and performance management to maintain high standards across the team.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care and prescription processing under supervision.
• Handle patient registration, data entry, and medication preparation.
• Provide training and performance management for technicians.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance with laws and company policies.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues to ensure a positive patient experience.
