Job summary

Walgreens in the United States is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to support daily non-clinical pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision. You will help with patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation, while ensuring a smooth workflow and a positive patient experience.

You will also train and manage technicians, assist with inventory, scheduling, and quality programs, and support the pharmacy manager in meeting regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities to ensure efficient workflow and positive patient experience.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
