Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical operations and ensure an efficient workflow and positive patient experience. Under a pharmacist’s supervision, you will assist with data entry, prescription processing, and non-clinical tasks while upholding company policies and regulatory requirements.

You will lead, train, and coach other technicians, manage scheduling, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
• 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule (evenings/weekends).
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including patient registration and data entry.
• Prepare medications for patients, count and verify where allowed by law.
• Support health services such as vaccines and health screenings where permitted.
• Delegate non-clinical work under pharmacist supervision and ensure on-time task completion.
• Maintain records and reports; manage inventory and pharmacy equipment.
