Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking English (Pharmacy setting)
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting strongly preferred
• PTCB certification (or equivalent) is required or preferred depending on location

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities to ensure efficient workflow and positive patient experience
• Assist pharmacist in delivering patient care including prescription data entry, medication preparation, and patient calls under supervision
• Lead training and performance management of pharmacy technicians; participate in scheduling, staffing, and inventory tasks
• Support and engage in community outreach and ensure compliance with Walgreens policies and relevant laws
