Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support non-clinical operations and ensure an efficient pharmacy workflow and a positive patient experience. Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist with prescription processing, data entry, and patient interactions.

You will also lead technician training and performance management, participate in inventory control, and help with health services like vaccines where allowed by law.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Has one year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision to ensure efficient workflow and positive patient experience.
• Assist pharmacist in patient care activities including prescription data entry, medication preparation, and vaccine/health service offerings where allowed by law.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians and oversee scheduling and development of personnel.
