Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a pharmacist leader to manage all aspects of pharmacy practice within state and federal laws and corporate policies. You will direct budgeting, staffing, inventory, pricing, and service delivery to optimize patient outcomes and store performance.

Required are a Pharm.D. or equivalent and active pharmacist licensure, with 2+ years of retail experience and a proven leadership track record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited U.S. school.
• 2+ years of related retail experience.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Participation in clinical programs through company training.
• Ability to continue education as necessary.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions and documents.
• Proven leadership skills.
• License must be in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for all aspects of pharmacy practice within laws and policies.
• Manage pharmacy budget and staffing to maximize financial performance.
• Provide excellence in customer service and optimize prescription pricing.
• Direct the pharmacy team to meet budgeted labor, volume, and inventory goals.
• Train and develop staff; perform performance reviews and feedback.
• Promote clinical services and disease state management.
• Supervise staff and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Travel as needed to support business needs.
• Handle third-party reimbursements and audits in a timely fashion.
