Job summary

Kroger is seeking a licensed pharmacist to manage all aspects of pharmacy practice within state and federal laws and corporate policies. You will oversee budgeting, inventory, pricing, and staff development while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role includes leading a pharmacy team, ensuring compliance, and participating in clinical services and public health initiatives. Travel as needed and performance reviews for direct reports are part of the duties.

Qualifications

Pharmacist license in good standing.
Retail pharmacy experience.
Strong customer service and leadership.
Ability to read and interpret prescriptions and documents.

Responsibilities

Perform all functions of a staff pharmacist and direct workflow to reduce customer wait times.
Develop, implement, supervise, and promote the sales plan as directed by the division pharmacy department.
Perform duties required of a registered pharmacist and follow all legal and company requirements.
Direct the pharmacy team to meet budgeted labor, inventory, and sales goals.
Comply with corporate procedures for controlled substances.
Monitor third-party profitability and handle third-party issues and audits.
Schedule staff to control labor costs.
Maintain pharmacy records per state and federal laws.
Travel independently as needed to support business needs.
Supervise and coach direct reports; conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
