Job summary

Kroger in Louisville, KY is seeking a Pharmacy Leader to oversee all aspects of the pharmacy department in alignment with state and federal laws and corporate policies. You will supervise staff, manage the budget, control inventory and pricing, and drive clinical services while focusing on customer service and safety.

You will coach staff, ensure compliance, schedule to manage labor costs, and lead public health initiatives and disease state management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited program.
• License in good standing as a Pharmacist.
• 2+ years of related retail experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality and provide excellent customer service.
• Willingness to continue education as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of a staff pharmacist and lead the pharmacy team to reduce customer wait times.
• Develop and promote sales plans and initiatives from the division pharmacy department.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and company requirements.
• Direct staff to meet budgeted labor, volume, inventory and sales goals.
• Monitor third-party profitability and resolve insurance issues promptly.
• Schedule staff to control labor costs and optimize workflow.
• Maintain required pharmacy records and participate in clinical services.
