Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Leader to plan, direct, and oversee daily operations in the pharmacy. You will hire staff, ensure accurate prescription filling, and maintain patient safety while aligning with corporate policies.

You will lead a team of pharmacists and technicians in delivering quality service. The role requires a PharmD, state licensure, immunization certification, CPR, and retail experience.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in state of practice.
• Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) required.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• CPR Certification.
• 3 years of experience in retail/community practice.
• One year management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staffing selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Conduct performance reviews for pharmacists and technicians.
• Document and apply disciplinary actions.
• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Implement and manage pharmacy programs, including clinical services and profitability.
• Educate and mentor staff to enhance team effectiveness.
• Motivate team to perform at high level and grow the business.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
