Job summary

Meijer is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to plan, direct, and supervise daily pharmacy operations. You will hire staff, conduct performance reviews, and ensure safe dispensing while upholding corporate and state policies.

The role requires strong leadership to mentor pharmacists and technicians, oversee clinical services including immunizations, and drive profitability with compliant, high-quality patient care. A pharmacy license and PharmD are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in the state of practice.
• Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) or PharmD-equivalent.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (where applicable).
• CPR Certification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in retail/community practice.

Responsibilities

• Staffing selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Prepare and conduct performance reviews of pharmacists and technicians.
• Document and apply disciplinary actions.
• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Implement and manage pharmacy programs and profitability.
