Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Leader to plan, direct, and supervise day-to-day operations of the pharmacy. You will hire staff, train teams, ensure accurate prescription filling, and drive adherence to corporate policies and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a PharmD or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy, active pharmacist licensure, CPR certification, and several years in retail practice with management exposure. Immunization services may be part of clinical duties.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must hold a Pharmacy degree (PharmD or Bachelors).
• Registered Pharmacist in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• CPR Certification is required.
• 3 years of experience in retail/community practice with 1 year of management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staffing selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Conduct performance reviews for pharmacists and technicians.
• Fills prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Implements pharmacy programs including financial results and profitability.
• Educates and mentors staff to be effective team members.
• Lead and develop the pharmacy team to achieve goals.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and state/federal laws.
