Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensed in the states within the district.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance billing.
• Experience performing prescription dispensing activities with knowledge of state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and OTC products.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews and dispenses prescribed medications following regulatory guidelines.
• Oversees pharmacy operations, scheduling, roles, and shift changes to ensure efficient workflow.
• Ensures Good Faith Dispensing practices and compliance with controlled substance laws.

Education

BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree
