Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, legal compliance, and insurance billing.
• Experience with state and federal controlled substance laws.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and generics.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews and dispenses prescribed medications in compliance with regulations.
• Oversees pharmacy workflow, scheduling, and staff development.
• Manages insurance claims processing and third-party audits.
• Provides clinical and wellness services such as immunizations and disease state management.
