Job summary

The Kroger Co. is hiring for a pharmacist leadership role responsible for all aspects of pharmacy practice and budget management. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with state and federal laws, and drive customer service excellence across the pharmacy department.

Responsibilities include developing sales initiatives, managing labor costs, and coordinating clinical services while maintaining records and training staff. Travel may be required to support business needs.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. or PharmD degree from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy.
• 2+ years related retail experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions and documents.
• Proven leadership skills.
• License must be in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of a staff pharmacist and model leadership; address customer complaints and streamline workflow.
• Develop, implement, supervise, and promote sales plan and division initiatives.
• Perform duties of a registered pharmacist following laws and company requirements.
• Direct the pharmacy team to meet budgeted labor, volume, inventory and sales goals.
• Monitor third-party profitability; handle third-party problems, rejections, and audits promptly.
• Schedule staff to control labor costs.
• Maintain all pharmacy records required by laws and policies.
• Travel independently to support business needs.
• Supervise and coach direct reports; conduct performance reviews.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
