Job summary

FDIHB is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to manage pharmaceutical supply ordering, inventory control, and budget analysis in a hospital setting. You will coordinate shipments, ensure compliance with storage and regulatory standards, and serve as the primary contact for prime vendors.

Responsibilities include cost-effective procurement, maintaining PAR levels, and supervising staff in inventory control activities.

Qualifications

• Two years of direct work experience in pharmaceutical supply ordering and inventory management.
• PTCB certification and state licensure within a month of hire.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted insurable driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmaceutical and supply order initiations and receipt of shipments.
• Maintain drug inventory with PAR levels and cost-effective procurement.
• Ensure storage compliance with USP, CMS, accreditation standards and IHS procedures.
• Serve as liaison between pharmacy staff and vendors; manage prime vendor relationships.
• Oversee controlled substances ordering including DEA requirements and documentation.
• Support budget projections and manage a pharmaceutical budget over $16 million annually.
• Train staff on inventory control and warehouse operations.
