Preferred Hospital Leasing Junction Inc seeks a Pharmacy Technician to manage floor stock, inventory, and purchasing records under the supervision of the Pharmacy Director and PIC. Responsibilities include processing orders, reconciling withdrawals, and maintaining DEA and state records.

The role supports the pharmacy by handling invoices, stock rotations, and ensuring confidentiality of patient information while complying with Texas Board regulations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Certification as Pharmacy Technician per board.
  • State Board certification as Technician Trainee until exam.
  • 2 years Pharmacy Technologist experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and controls all floor stock and medication inventory and reconciles withdrawals with the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at least every seven (7) days.
  • Issues controlled substances and maintains records as required by law and pharmacy policies and procedures.
  • Maintains the computer system data base and pharmacy records as required by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Processes invoices and deliveries; keeps records and maintains current price lists.
  • Maintains confidential patient information and performs basic data entry duties.

Education

High School Diploma/GED
National Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination
State Board of Pharmacy Technician Trainee Certification
2 years Pharmacy Technologist experience
