You will coordinate prime vendor purchasing, ensure regulatory compliance, and support cost analyses for a multi-million-dollar budget. The role focuses on procurement accuracy, stock replenishment, and liaison with hospital staff to maintain uninterrupted drug availability and controlled substance handling.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of direct work experience in pharmaceutical supply ordering and inventory management.
• High School Diploma or Equivalency, PTCB certification preferred.
• Must obtain state licensure (AZ or NM) within one month of hire.
• NAVAJO/INDIAN PREFERENCE policy applies.

Responsibilities

• Initiate pharmaceutical and supply orders and receive shipments.
• Maintain inventory control and ensure storage requirements meet standards.
• Manage PAR levels and procurement through prime vendor and alternatives.
• Coordinate budget, cost analyses and tracking for a multi-million dollar pharmacy budget.
• Ensure DSCSA compliance and act as SME on drug supply chain security.
• Support pharmacists in cost analysis, usage trends, and recalls as needed.
• Provide staff orientation and training on inventory and system practices.
