Job summary

Walgreens Boots Alliance is seeking a post-graduate pharmacist intern to perform supervised pharmacy duties, counsel customers on medications, and support immunization and wellness services in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities include compounding, reviews, dispensing, and contributing to efficient workflow while maintaining regulatory compliance and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university outside the United States.
• FPGEC certification.
• Intern permit/certificate from the respective Board of Pharmacy, if required.
• Willingness to obtain licensure in states within the district within 45 days of intern hours.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication use, safety, interactions and proper administration.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews and verification.
• Dispenses prescribed medications accurately and reviews workload impact.
