Job summary

Walgreens Boots Alliance is seeking a Pharmacist Intern to support post-graduate pharmacy activities under direct supervision. You will counsel customers, review medications, and help optimize the pharmacy workflow while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You’ll participate in immunizations and preventive healthcare services, with opportunities to develop clinical acumen and patient care skills in a busy pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university outside the United States.
• Foreign Pharmacist Graduate Equivalency Certificate (FPGEC) required.
• Intern permit or certificate issued by the respective Board of Pharmacy.
• Willingness to obtain licensure within 45 days of intern hours.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients on medication usage, safety, interactions, and privacy.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and management.
• Review and dispense prescribed medications accurately under supervision.
• Support efficient pharmacy workflow and regulatory compliance.
• Open/close the pharmacy and assist with shift duties.
