Job summary

Walgreens Boots Alliance in the United States seeks a post-graduate pharmacy professional to deliver patient-focused care under a licensed pharmacist. You will counsel customers, manage drug interactions, and contribute to immunizations and preventive health services while ensuring accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university outside the United States.
• FPGEC certification or equivalent.
• Intern permit/certificate per state Board of Pharmacy requirements.
• Willingness to obtain licensure within 45 days of intern hours.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist in post-graduate pharmacy activities under supervision to meet Board requirements.
• Provide pharmac​y consulting on medications, drug interactions, and immunizations.
• Ensure proper compounding, dispensing, review and verification under guidelines.
• Support pharmacy workflow, inventory management and financial optimization.
• Engage customers, answer questions, and promote healthcare services such as immunizations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from accredited University outside the United States

Foreign Pharmacist Graduate Equivalency Certificate (FPGEC)

Intern permit/certificate issued by the respective Board of Pharmacy

Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure in district states within 45 days

Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days
